Banana Ice Cream.


I’m spending the day slaving over a hot stove making strawberry jam.  Why?  Probably because I’m crazy.  Or maybe because I got a little overzealous while strawberry picking over the weekend and now have baskets of berries that need to be put to use.  Would I rather be making this banana ice cream?  You bet.  It’s so friggin’ healthy, I can hardly stand it!

White peach tarts!  Now, obviously I completely disregarded the “gluten free” aspect of this recipe and used my own recipe for pie crust.  I also sprinkled the tarts with cinnamon & sugar rather than rosemary infused sugar before baking { because, frankly, who has the time… } but I think they turned out well.

Fall Baking.

Now that the mornings are noticeably cooler, it can be hard to coax yourself out of bed.  The smell of these pear and walnut cinnamon twists, which we made this weekend, will definitely do the trick.
